Special guest Tom McCullough, Artistic Director of the 2nd Biennale of Sydney in 1976, Recent International Forms in Art staged entirely at the Art Gallery of NSW, reflects about the beginnings of the Biennale of Sydney and the significance of the Mildura Sculpture Triennials of the 1970s. Developing out of the Mildura Prize for Sculpture founded in 1961, the Mildura Triennials are remembered for their experimental character and as a platform for post-object, performance, earthworks, environmental feminist and collaborative art practices.
