CAPACETE launches the second edition of its yearly program in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for up to 12 international participants dedicated to research and practice in the arts and critical thought.

The application deadline for the 2016 yearly program is the 24th of May 2015 at 12 PM Rio de Janeiro time.

Lecturers for 2016 (names may change):

Andrea Fraser, Pedro de Niemeyer Cesarino , Raimond Chaves, Leandro Cardoso Nerefuh, Teresa Riccardi, Max Hinderer, Falke Pisano, Julien Bismuth and Elfi Turpin.

Guest lecturers:
Once a week, CAPACETE will also invites artists, theoreticians,curators and other collaborators from different backgrounds to propose courses,seminars, or other forms of exchange with the participants along the year.

CAPACETE will keep an open dialogue with the participants, considering theirinterest and goals, even with respect to inviting relevant guests.

12 participants will be selected for the program. The aim is to reserve 4 positions for Brazilians, 4 for South Americans, and 4 for the rest of the world. The duration of the program is 10 months, from the 1st of March to the 16th of December, with a one- month break in August during the Olympic games, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro.
