IX Biennale – Ethics: DNA of Art
November 30th – December 8th 2013
Fortezza da Basso | Firenze, Italy
Founded and developed as a completely independent and self-financed exhibition, the IX edition of Florence Biennale is under new artistic direction by Rolando Bellini. The focus of this edition is to “scan” the genetic code of Art, decoding one of its fundamental strands: Ethics.
A rich array of events, encompassing in a fundamental way the entire city of Florence, with exhibitions, performances, and installations, Florence Biennale will for the first time take place in different locations throughout the year for an ongoing dialogue between past and present in emblematic venues representative of the “Birthplace of the Renaissance”.
