One year in advance of the opening of the 2012 Festival, Liverpool Biennial announces the appointment of its new Artistic Director and Chief Executive. Sally Tallant, currently Head of Programmes at the Serpentine Gallery, London, will take up the post in November, succeeding founding Director, Lewis Biggs OBE.

Liverpool Biennial 2012 will take place 15 September – 25 November 2012.
