This semi-annual program provides participants with an unparalleled opportunity to engage with the Israeli art community, explore historical and sociopolitical developments, delve into the contemporary context in which artistic production is taking place, and ultimately create a platform for projects and initiatives to emerge.
Until recently, participation in the trips was by invitation only, but due to high demand and interest from the professional art world, Artis now accepts applications.
The next curatorial research trip to Israel is scheduled for October 10-17, 2013.
