WHISPER SESSIONS, the programming arm of FRONT, are a flexible platform to activate hidden networks, offering tools for gathering and solitude. Our title — which references mycelial networks, whisper networks, and ASMR as a form of non-visual stimulation — indirectly highlights goals of engaging conversation, listening deeply, and finding ways to collaborate.
WHISPER SESSIONS take the form of live and asynchronous events: parties, reading groups, games, rituals, cooking shows, recipes, and more. Inverting the institutional order, the series amplifies ongoing research by artists, cultural omnivores, and culture producers beyond categorization. If you would like to pitch a WHISPER SESSION, please contact [email protected] or DM@fronttriennial.
