Calling all artists!
Proposals for art projects are now being accepted for Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025.
Nuit Blanche Toronto is the city’s annual all-night celebration of contemporary art, produced by the City of Toronto in collaboration with Toronto’s arts community. Since 2006, this award-winning event has featured more than 1690 art installations by approximately 6000 artists and has generated over 529 million CAD in economic impact for Toronto.
Applications are open for two Nuit Blanche Toronto programs: the Open Call program, which is open to artists from all over the world; and the Independent Projects program, which is exclusively for Toronto-based artists.
Proposals must respond to the 2025 event theme—Translating the City—which invites artists to develop works that translate the landscapes, rhythms, identities and narratives of cities in unique ways. How can the sounds of a city be made visual? What are cities trying to communicate? How can we map their untold stories? Learn more about the 2025 theme, Artistic Director, exhibitions, and curators.

–Poetic Justice, curated by Charlene K. Lau
–From here, there, everywhere, curated by Renata Azevedo Moreira
Proposals are selected by the Nuit Blanche Artistic Director and exhibition curators in consultation with City of Toronto staff.
Open Call projects are funded up to 15,000 CAD and produced by the City of Toronto.
