What is in the act of naming? What starts to take shape through this process, and what transformations can we expect to unfold?
A curious event unfurls when a name is given, and you’re invited to be part of this from the very start. Breaking the mould of the usual biennale experience, the Singapore Biennale (SB22) is given a name – Natasha. Conceived as a shared commitment to the functions and potentials of a biennale of contemporary art in and after pandemic time, Natasha is a presence through which we can investigate the ways that art, as well as that which is considered other to art, may be deeply connected to life.
Join SB22’s four co-artistic directors – Binna Choi, Nida Ghouse, June Yap and Ala Younis as they shed light on the curatorial concept.
