The film will exclusively available for free from 25 – 29 November 2021, and we cordially invite you to sign up for the online screening.
With Riga’s abandoned industrial space of Andrejsala providing an evocative, other-worldly backdrop, the film and suddenly it all blossoms is a journey through the complexities of our time, shifting between hopes, desires, and doubts around our current moment.
Directed by Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel and acclaimed Latvian film director Dāvis Sīmanis, the film’s soundtrack and narration was produced by singer and songwriter LAFAWNDAH. The film has received two nominations for the Latvian national film award “Lielais Kristaps” – in the category for the best documentary cinematographer, Andrejs Rudzāts, and for the category of best sound director Ernests Ansons.
