Liverpool Biennial is currently recruiting for an Assistant Curator, Digital Communications Officer and Education Intern.

Assistant Curator

Fixed term until 30 November 2016.
Salary band 5 – £18 – 20K dependant on qualifications and experience.

Liverpool Biennial is looking to appoint an Assistant Curator to join the team.

The Assistant Curator will support the Programme Team in all aspects of the research, preparation, delivery, production, installation, maintenance and de-installation of the Biennial exhibition and year-round programme of talks, events, publishing and research.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Digital Communications Officer

13-month contract
22.5 hours per week
Salary £10,558 (£17,362 full-time equivalent)

Liverpool Biennial is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join its Marketing and Communications Team and deliver an innovative digital strategy that furthers Liverpool Biennial’s audience development objectives. The Digital Communications Officer works closely with the Biennial’s programming and production team, artists, curators, and external agencies to capture and tell digitally the story of Liverpool Biennial 2016. The successful candidate will be proactive with proven experience in digital and content marketing, social media, data analysis, and basic photography and video production / editing skills.

Education Intern

12-month internship
30 – 37 hours per week
£13,687 full-time salary (£10,949 for 30 hours)

Education is central to Liverpool Biennial’s programme and is integrated throughout all of its work. We are currently seeking to appoint an Education Intern to learn from our team by supporting the Education Curator and assisting in the coordination of a wide variety of events, programmes and projects including the Biennial exhibition and year-round programme.

The successful applicant will have experience or knowledge of working with young people and a knowledge and understanding of the North Liverpool area. Experience of, or a strong interest in visual arts would be an advantage.
