By working as part of a dynamic team, this is a rare opportunity to learn the ins and outs of planning and running the communications program for a prestigious international art event. Under the guidance of the Head of Communications, interns will assist with regular departmental activities that range from research and special projects to routine administrative tasks.
There are two internships available:
International Media and Publications intern: Activities will include media monitoring and coordinating the distribution of international press material, as well as working alongside the design and publications team for the production of print materials, such as the exhibition guide.
National Media and Events intern: Activities will include assisting in event production, local PR coordination and managing the Bergen Assembly online media platform (facebook & website).
Candidates for both position should have strong communication skills. Fluency in both Norwegian and English is important. Must be available to commit fulltime, effective from the middle of June through to the middle of September. Some evening and weekend work is expected, based at our offices in Litteraturhuset in Bergen.
To apply, submit a CV with photo and a few words about yourself and the skills you bring to the team in English language to Henriette Gallus, Head of Communications: [email protected]
