Responsibilities include: budget management; research; coordination with artists, galleries, and lenders; creation of installation plans and schedules in collaboration with curators, designers, registrars, art handlers, and building staff; assist with organization of the accompanying publication; assist with didactic materials for labels, brochures, and calendar copy; participate in production of audio and visual components for the exhibition; other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements include: B.A. and background in contemporary art; 5-7 years related research, installation, and budget management experience; excellent writing and oral communication skills; collaborative spirit; and editorial and word processing skills (Microsoft Word for Windows and Excel). Individual must be very well organized, self-motivated, and flexible.
