Res Artis is currently looking for two interns for it’s Amsterdam Office. This is an opportunity to benefit from an enriching experience in an international environment. Interns will work on a variety of projects and administrative tasks and will receive intensive guidance by the Res Artis staff.

The interns responsibilities involve supporting functions regarding international project development, marketing, internal/external communications and research, as well as all aspects of the administration’s daily business like archiving, membership administration and production of documents, and funding.

As Res Artis is a small foundation, the interns form an integral part of the overall office team. The organization shares its knowledge and expertise generously with the interns and cares to create an inspiring and productive atmosphere.

The intern will be assigned a project, which preferably can be finalized within the internship period. If manageable, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in a network meeting of Res Artis.

This is an unpaid position for which the intern may arrange academic credit. In that case, it is the intern’s responsibility to obtain and complete the necessary forms to receive credit for her/his internship. In some cases, compensation for travel costs can be granted.

Qualifications
include superior organizational skills, high level English speaking and writing, the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and through email, an enthusiastic attitude and a strong interest in art residencies, cultural exchange and mobility.

The intern must be capable to work independently, and be able to both follow instructions while also being resourceful and able to figure out tasks with a minimum of supervision.

Candidates should be research experiences, hard-working, reliable, detail-oriented, computer savvy, and available minimum 3 days per week (Monday to Friday) for a length of 4-6 months.

Res Artis is looking for 2 interns for its office in Amsterdam, potential candidates should be based in the Netherlands.

Preferred starting date of the internship: April 1st, 2013.
